Are you ready to sharpen your skill set, add a new skill to your resume, or just want to try something new? We are always on the lookout for volunteers for our growing organization. Volunteering is a fun and inspiring way to have a true impact on your community. We are a grassroots organization – we couldn’t do what we do without our volunteers – the more volunteers we have the more we can accomplish together!
The time required varies – we can work around your schedule. We welcome dads, too! Below are just a few of our open positions. Please drop us a note at info@momsadvocatingsustainability.org, let us know you are interested in volunteering, and someone will get back to you very soon.
Help us get the word out about the work we do.
Host a House Party or Educational Event
One of the things MOMAS does best is to provide science-based information to parents about harmful items our kids are exposed to every day, and suggestions for incremental changes your family can make to shift towards a healthier lifestyle. From the food you eat, to the shampoos you purchase to the bedding you choose, we provide clear and relevant information and follow it with easy and doable tips for making small changes in your life that can have a big impact. Our house parties often include a presentation by a local physician. We’ll also fill you in about some of the key campaigns we are working on to make our communities healthier and safer – and provide information about how you can help.
All you need to do is supply the guests and refreshments. We can do the rest.
We are happy to speak:
- in a home
- at a school
- to employee groups
- to mothers groups
If you are interested, please send a note to: info@momsadvocatingsustainability.org; put “Interested in Hosting a House Party or Educational Event” in the subject line, and include your contact information, and someone will get back to you.
